OBS is the most versatile software, but it’s also the most confusing to set up.
Setting up OBS
First, we will need to download the program, so visit OBSProject.Com – Downloads and click “Download” wait for it to download, and then install it following the instructions in the program. Once you’ve done this, start the program. Now don’t panic once it boots up, it might not look so easy, but if you follow this guide it shouldn’t be a problem!
The first thing you want to do is to add a “Scene” so right-click in the “Scene” box, and select “Add Scene”. Choose a title for your scene and hit OK.
Note: I’m not going to cover on how to setup multiple scenes with hotkeys in this guide, as this is most likely not needed this early on.
Now you will need a “Source”, so right click the “Source” box and hover over “Add”, and choose either Window or Game Capture. Unless you want to adjust any settings, just hit OK once more.
